Alloy Steel Machined Parts

When innovative industries choose to be the first to use new alloys, they call Minhe Manufacturing a very traditional result: a consistent and reliable supply of high-quality components and screw machine parts.

Minhe is known for successfully processing metals that other producers are reluctant to handle. Customers can confidently design with new materials and trust Minhe to machine the most exotic superalloys for high-quality, cost-effective results.

Experienced Processing Staff

After more than 18 years in the industry, we have cultivated a team of machining and engineering experts who can recognize the manufacturing challenges of new materials before they become costly production delays. Complete in-house tooling capabilities create custom tools precisely tailored to the properties of the metal being machined.

Steel Alloy Machining Characteristics

Steel Alloy 4140 or 4142

Steel alloys 4140 and 4142 are typically used for high stress applications where alloy strength is required. Direct hardening only.

Steel Alloy 41L40

Steel alloy 41L40 is designed for better machining with lead additives. Direct hardening only. Alloy 41L40 is typically machined into components for higher stress applications.

Steel Alloy 8620

Alloy steel 8620 consists of 0.55% Ni, 0.50% Cr, 0.20% Mo. Case hardened and heat treatable. Alloy 8620 is machined into parts for higher stress applications requiring alloy strength.

Steel Alloy 52100

Steel alloy 52100 consists of very high 1% carbon, 0.25% nickel, 1.4% chromium, 0.08% molybdenum. It is usually used in bearing applications.
